State Sen. New Westside Trail

Salt Lake City just finished the 400 South Viaduct Trail, linking downtown to westside neighborhoods and making it safer and easier for people to walk and bike across I-15. The project also includes a colorful public art installation inspired by Poplar Grove’s beloved neighborhood peacocks. [KSL]

Weber State Selling Ski Resort

Weber State University is selling its portion of land at Powder Mountain Ski Resort for $3.2 million after plans for a science station and observatory fell through. The university plans to use the money to help fund a new field station project near Yellowstone National park. [Salt Lake Tribune]
