Your guide to Election Day. (Ivana Martinez/City Cast Salt Lake)

It’s Election Day in Utah — don’t panic! Here’s everything you need to know to get your ballot in on time.

✍️ Still Need to Register?

Same-day registration is available from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. at an Election Day Vote Center. Bring a valid photo ID and proof of residency. You must be a U.S. citizen, a resident of Utah for at least 30 days before the election, and at least 18 years old on or before Election Day.

🗳️ Drop That Ballot

If you’re a procrastinator (me), it’s officially too late to mail in your ballot. New Utah law means postmarks don’t count, your ballot must be in the possession of the county clerk by 8 p.m. tonight. Drop it at a ballot drop box near you.

☑️ Vote In-Person

Vote centers will be open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. Find one near you and don’t forget your ID.
