These new-to-me food and drink spots are on my list to try.

Level Crossing

While Level Crossing Brewing Company has been a Salt Lake staple for years, they’ve opened a new location in the Post District. I’ve got my eye on the wood-fired pizzas, soft pretzel, and s’mores brownie. 21+ only.

El Cholo

After seeing a movie at the Cinemark in Sugar House, I passed by these next two places. El Cholo, a 100-year-old Mexican restaurant that originated in Los Angeles, opened its first Utah location. They have rooftop and patio seating.

Matcha Cafe Kyoto

This matcha cafe seemingly popped up overnight. They have a lot of matcha (of course) lattes and soft serve — but they also have a hojicha (a rich and nutty green tea) latte, which is a bit harder to come by in Utah.

Have you tried any of these? Tell me about it!
