Reader-Submitted Volunteer Opps

“At St. Vincent de Paul, you can prep food for the meals they make, and you can help serve meals.” — Marilyn B.

“I thought I would let you know about the Back to School day that Common Thread is organizing on Aug. 10. Common Thread is an organization that supports teens impacted by foster care and similar lived experiences. They are looking for volunteers. People can donate their skills (hair stylists, nail techs, barbers, make up artists) or goods (school supplies, hair products, hygiene products), and general donations for the work they do!” — Emina A.
