We’re less than a week away from Thanksgiving, and if you’re still looking for plans or just want to get out of the house, there are many places around Salt Lake ready to welcome you and feed your soul.
Bambara (Downtown SLC)
I’ll admit, I often overlook hotel restaurants. But the Hotel Monaco just wrapped up a beautiful remodel. Their Thanksgiving Buffet offers a cheese & charcuterie option for those of us who don’t love turkey. The buffet costs $85 per person and runs from noon to 6 p.m.
Little America (Downtown SLC)
The big Thanksgiving buffet is already sold out, but there are two other options. The hotel’s coffee shop is serving a three-course menu from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. with a choice of turkey, prime rib, salmon, or vegetarian — if you’re an early bird, the regular breakfast menu is available from 6 a.m. to 11 a.m. Over at Lucky H Buffet you can still challenge your stomach with a prime rib dinner buffet from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Flanagan’s Irish Pub & Restaurant (Park City)
Add a little Irish charm to your Thanksgiving outing with the three-course meal at Flanagan’s. The entire menu sounds delicious, but they had me at bourbon bread pudding with vanilla ice cream. It’s $50 per adult and runs from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.
Hub & Spoke Diner (East Bench SLC)
This one’s for the brunch crowd. The Thanksgiving buffet has both traditional turkey fare and Hub & Spoke favorites like the Mini Kentucky Hot Brown. The buffet costs $45 per adult and runs from 9:30 a.m. to 2:45 p.m. A special apple cider mimosa is $6.
Log Haven (Millcreek)
Take an afternoon hike in Millcreek Canyon before a three-course Thanksgiving dinner at Log Haven. Choose a main dish from turkey, salmon, filet mignon, and pappardelle pasta. Reservations are open between 5:30 and 9 p.m., and dinner is $85 for adults and $45 for children.
Silver Fork Lodge (Big Cottonwood Canyon)
The Thanksgiving menu is all-you-can-eat and includes all the classics for just $46 per adult. It’s first-come, first serve from noon to 6 p.m., so get there early and bring an appetite. Maybe you’ll catch a buzz and make an offer to buy the place!
Honorable Mention: Baby's Bagels
Baby’s isn’t open on Thanksgiving, but they’re serving a special Thanksgiving leftovers sandwich through Dec. 1 that looks incredible (even the tiny version).

One last note: Remember that these folks are working hard on a holiday to serve all of your neighbors, so be kind and remember to tip.
