We have some amazing community events coming up this summer. Many are in need of volunteers, which is a great way to meet new people. Here are a couple opportunities to sign up for:
UBLAC (Utah Black Artists Collective) and DIVA (Diversity Inclusion Values Action) are hosting the annual Juneteenth Freedom Day at Millcreek Common on June 18. They need volunteers for various roles during the big event.
Burning Sissy Valley is a community organization for QTPOC (Queer, Trans, people of color) by QTPOC. Their Pride event will take place July 29, and they’re looking for both vendors and volunteers.
