Save the Phalarope
Attend a rally today at the Utah State Capitol from 11 a.m.- noon in support of listing the Wilson’s phalarope under the Endangered Species Act, and do your part in this concerted effort to save the Great Salt Lake (and our bird neighbors).
Mac & Cheese Needed
Crossroads Urban Center needs food pantry donations. The top priorities are mac and cheese, pasta, and rice. Drop off donations from Monday-Friday, 9 a.m.- 5 p.m. at either of their food pantry locations (1358 W. Indiana Ave. or 347 S. 400 E.)
Seasonal Watershed Workers
Salt Lake City is looking for part-time watershed workers. The position involves heavy physical activity and exposure to various environmental conditions as it’s primarily outdoors. Duties include painting, landscaping, and cleaning campground areas.
