The start of a new season means a different set of needs for our unsheltered community. The Coconut Hut is accepting donations, and especially in need of the following items for the hottest time of year:
💧 Reusable water bottles
☀️ Sunscreen
🦟 Insect repellant
🧢 Hats, visors, sun shades/umbrellas
⛺️ Sleeping bags, tarps, tents
🥫 Shelf-stable food & snacks
🌬 Handheld fans
👟 Shoes (no slippers, cleats, or dress shoes)
💦 Spray bottles
🧊 Coolers & thermoses
Drop donations at EVO All Together Skate Park on 660 S. 400 W., Suite 300 in Salt Lake City. They’re open 12-7 p.m. (closed Thursdays). Follow The Coconut Hut for updates on more ways you can help a neighbor.
