The Period Project is a nonpartisan campaign to make period products more accessible to menstruators, by supplying them in schools, workplaces, and public spaces. Here are two ways to volunteer with them:
🩸 Student Ambassador Program
The Student Ambassador Program is for students ages 12-18 to learn about advocacy and leadership skills. Hundreds of student ambassadors in Utah helped pass a bill that put free period products in public schools.
🩸 Host a Packing Party
You can host a packing party to make weekend or summer period kits for school-aged children. Head to their website for more information or email directly at info@thepolicyproject.org.
