Are Turkey Trots a part of your family’s holiday tradition? These festive races often take place on or near Thanksgiving Day and are a fun way to get your body movin’ and raise money for a good cause.

🦃 Utah Human Race

The Utah Human Race is a 5K or 10K in Sandy benefitting the Utah Food Bank. My family runs it every year and I stay walking after them.

🦃 Midway Turkey Trot

All proceeds of the Midway Turkey Trot 5K will go to the Lynden Legacy Foundation, which provides support and resources to those taking care of loved ones with Alzheimers or dementia.

🦃 Cottonwood Heights Thanksgiving Day 5K

Run or walk a 5K in Cottonwood Heights. $1 from every registration fee will go toward the Cottonwood Heights Recreation Center Foundation. Every participant who runs faster than the Cottonwood Heights mayor will get an “I’m faster than the mayor” medal.
