Christmas in Utah is magical. All over the state, there are events and activities that are sure to get you into the holiday spirit. But I have found that one of the best ways to feel pure Christmas magic is by attending one of the best holiday light displays in Utah. Fortunately, the Beehive State is home to several incredible light displays that will make you feel holly, jolly, and merry. Rather than search for some of the best “Christmas lights near me,” consider adding the following displays to your holiday bucket list.

Temple Square, Salt Lake City

The lights at Temple Square in downtown Salt Lake City is one of the most well-known light displays in Utah and has been a state tradition since the 1960s. At these Christmas lights in Salt Lake City, Utah, you can walk among more than one million twinkling Christmas lights, view nativity scenes, enjoy daily holiday performances, and learn about the true meaning of the season.

ZooLights at Hogle Zoo, Salt Lake City

One of our favorite holiday traditions is viewing the ZooLights at Hogle Zoo. These Christmas lights in Salt Lake City, Utah, feature animal and holiday scenes that will impress guests all around the zoo. Bundle up because this is a walk-through Christmas light display in Utah you won’t want to miss!

Draper City Park, Draper

If you are in the Salt Lake Valley and searching for “Christmas lights near me,” I recommend a visit to Draper City Park. Here, you can walk through trees adorned with thousands of lights. However, the crowning jewel is the Globe Willow Tree, which is covered in up to 75,000 lights — it’s breathtaking! Don’t miss these Christmas lights in Draper, Utah.

Your entire family will love these Christmas lights in Lehi, Utah.

Spanish Fork Festival of Lights, Spanish Fork

One of the best drive-thru Christmas lights in Utah is the Festival of Lights. These Christmas lights in Spanish Fork are located at Canyon View Park, and here, you can drive through a million lights, listen to Christmas music on the radio, and simply enjoy the holiday season. Gather your family and friends, bring along some hot chocolate, and get into the holiday spirit at this impressive light show.

Christmas Village, Ogden

If you are searching for the best Christmas lights in Ogden, Utah, the Christmas Village is it. During this annual event, you will feel like you are walking the streets of the North Pole, rather than downtown Ogden. You will view thousands of lights, elf cottages, and more along your way. It’s a holiday event in Utah that you’ll find yourself visiting multiple times throughout the season.

Fantasy at the Bay, Willard Bay State Park, Willard

For one of the best drive-thru Christmas light displays in Utah, head to Willard Bay State Park for Fantasy at the Bay. This impressive display not only features thousands of lights and incredible displays, but you’ll want to pick up a pair of 3D snowflake glasses at the entrance to see the lights transform into tiny snowflakes.

Christmas in Color, South Jordan

Christmas in Color is one of the best Christmas light displays in the U.S. These Christmas lights in South Jordan take you on a holiday experience that you won’t find anywhere else.
