Jill Onofrietti loves ice cream so much, she made an Instagram account about it. We had the pleasure of chatting with Jill on the pod about the best vegan ice cream in the city. Our team even joined her for a scoop (two scoops for me) at her top pick — Monkeywrench. Whether you’re vegan or not, treat yourself to an ice cream in these final days of summer.
Monkeywrench - Salt Lake's premier vegan ice cream shop. Jill loves the seasonal specials, peppermint chocolate chip in the winter and blueberry cobbler in the summer.
Normal Ice Cream - They specialize in soft serve ice cream and have both dairy and non-dairy options. Each month, their flavors change to keep it spicy. Hot tip: they always have vegan vanilla at the truck in Millcreek Commons.
Sweetaly Gelato - Also not exclusively vegan, but the dark chocolate sorbet is dairy-free and amazing.
