This is your reminder to shop local this Small Business Saturday. Need some gifting inspo? Here are just a few ideas.
For the Music Lover
- S&S Presents. Get your hands on a 2025 golden ticket (chocolate bar not included)! This exclusive pass will get you into any Metro Music Hall or Urban Lounge show (21+ only) or any Kilby Court show (all ages) — even sold out events!
- Diabolical Records. Speaking of sweet deals, grab a mystery bag and get 15 records for $10.
For the Gen-Z Fashionista
- Graviet. The cool kids are wearing this fashion brand started by two friends in Utah.
- Get thrifty. Head to a vintage store like Copperhive Vintage, Pibs Exchange, or IconoCLAD, and grab them a bundle of clothes from the early 2000s (think JNCO jeans and babydoll crop tops).
For the Crafter
- Chelbie Hunger Glassworks. Take your craftiest friend to a glass workshop to make their own coaster or ornament.
- Commission a piece. Reach out to your favorite local artist to create something special for your loved one. A few of my faves are Goth Sloth, Shaandiin Powell, and Riso Geist.
For the Foodie
- Sheer Ambrosia. Some of the tastiest baklava in SLC.
- Your favorite local grocer. One of the best gifts I ever received was a basket of items from my favorite specialty food store. We have so many good ones: Central 9th Market, Liberty Heights Fresh, The Neighborhood Hive, and Caputo’s.
