Plants in a box.

Crispy plants. (Terina Ria/City Cast Salt Lake)

In honor of Halloween, I’m paying my respects to all the dearly departed hobbies I started this year … and then ghosted. Fortunately, we have some amazing local businesses nearby, ready to bring my creative spirit back to life 🧟

RIP to the box of beautiful herbs and plants I got at the Wasatch Community Gardens’ Plant Sale. I neglected you on my balcony and went on vacation for 10 days, and for that, I am deeply remorseful.

Yarn in a yellow crate

So much yarn, so little time. (Terina Ria/City Cast Salt Lake)

🪦 Knitting/Crocheting | Willow Hill Yarn Company

RIP to my ego for thinking that I could casually knit a baby sweater with zero skill or practice. I quickly discovered I can only produce rectangles and got bored and abandoned the project completely.

Blue linen fabric.

Destined to be shorts, forced to remain in my dusty craft box. (Terina Ria/City Cast Salt Lake)

🪦 Sewing | Harmony

RIP to this vibrant blue linen fabric I got at Harmony in Provo. I am mostly sorry to the friend who was supposed to receive blue linen shorts for her birthday. Here’s hoping for next year?

Pottert on wheels.

Can you guess which pot is mine? (Terina Ria/City Cast Salt Lake)

🪦 Pottery | Ceramic Supply USA

RIP to that one time I took a pottery class at Ceramic Supply USA and tried my very best. Art is subjective, right?
