The Best Game Day Experiences in Salt Lake

00:00:00

There’s a nip in the morning air, and the University of Utah football team kicked off its season last night. Fall sports are here! As a lover of all 216 bars in Salt Lake County, here is where I recommend catching games — whether you want to bring the kids, distract your boyfriend, or avoid bar food altogether.

For Die-Hards

This bar is home for SLC soccer fans, but nearly any game gets the four-projector-screen treatment. They often open early or stay open late for international games, too. 21+

From MMA to football, there is always something on the four-TV-panel wall. Send your boyfriend here, or join them! 21+

I’m prepared to name it Salt Lake’s friendliest sports bar. 21+

It’s calling itself Salt Lake’s first gay sports bar, and the official women’s sports bar. 21+

🏆 Honorable mentions: Gracie’s, Poplar Street Pub, The Green Pig

For Casual Fans

Think, the game is on but no sound throughout.

If it’s a morning game, they’ve got a great brunch. 21+

Good TV set up and an incredible beer list. Plus, a photo booth. 21+

The vibe is neighborhood bar, and the owner is a former employee of the iconic Paper Moon lesbian bar. 21+

Alternatives to Bar Food

If you sit at the sushi bar, you can have a delicious meal with an eye on the game. These guys loooove basketball.

The big corner TV makes for great game-watching with ceviche and taro chips. 21+

With Kids

Technically, this sports bar is a restaurant. Which means you can bring the fam!
