So you’re going out of town to visit loved ones, and you want to give them something Utah/Salt Lake City-themed that isn’t honey or salt (no shade)? Well, do we have a list for you.

🕯 Soymurga

You can’t go wrong with any candle by Soymurga. They’re handmade in Utah from 100% soy wax and smell incredible.

🏔 Anna Bugbee Studio

Anna Bugbee sells bandanas, tea towels, notebooks, and prints that capture Utah’s rich landscape and botanical diversity. She also sells a flora and fauna coloring book for kids of all ages.

🧂 What’s Good SLC

A beautiful coffee table book, made by Copy That Studio, dedicated to our favorite city. Pre-orders are coming soon on their website, but you can find copies for purchase at local shops around town, like Under the Umbrella Bookstore.

🦖 The Would-Be Utah Flag Shirt

What our state flag could’ve been (a dinosaur and fish skiing and snowboarding down a mountain) is immortalized in t-shirt form. Designed by Grant Miller, all proceeds will go to the Rocky Mountain Innocence Center.

🍫 Craft Chocolate

We have oodles of artisan chocolate makers in Salt Lake, including Solstice Chocolate, The Chocolate Conspiracy, and Ritual Chocolate. Ritual Chocolate and Caputo’s Market combined forces on this Wild Tranquilidad bar. One dollar from each bar sold will go back to Hacienda Tranquilidad to preserve this rare cacao.

🧀 Beehive Cheese

Give the gift of cheese this holiday season. May I be so bold as to recommend the “Barely Buzzed” by Beehive Cheese? It’s a cheddar that’s rubbed in espresso and lavender. You can find Beehive Cheese at most grocery stores, but they also sell these awesome gift boxes on their website.

What’s your favorite SLC souvenir to gift?
