Valentine’s Day is quickly approaching. Do you have strong feelings about the holiday, or do you not think twice about it? Personally, I’m a sucker for it. I love an excuse to dress up and spend some quality time with my nearest and dearests. Here are a few ways to celebrate Valentine’s or Galentine’s Day in Salt Lake.

Get Crafty

Make a terrarium at Lost Acorn Gallery on Feb. 14 at 6 p.m. It’s $75 for one person and $100 for two or make a pottery heart-shaped jewelry box at Workshop SLC on Feb. 17 from 2-4 p.m.

Make it a Galentine's Day

On Feb. 10 from 1-3 p.m. there’s a Girl’s Club Market with vintage clothes, accessories, permanent jewelry, pretzels, and more. Water Witch is having a Galentine’s celebration (21+ only) on Feb. 14 at 7 p.m. with treats and pink drinks.

The Valentine’s Museum

Head to Provo to visit the Valentine’s Museum pop-up. It’s open now (closed Sunday) through Feb. 14.

Donate Blood

Hear me out, ARUP Blood Services is giving out blood-type key chains for those who donate blood on Valentine’s Day. This is mushy-gushy love, but in a different kind of way.

What are your plans for love day?
