This week, team pancakes and team waffles duked it out for the title of breakfast champion. Pancakes took an initial lead and seemed to be the clear winner. But, in the greatest comeback of all time, waffles pulled through last minute to take the crown. Here are your choices for the best in town:
Jordan - The chicken and waffles at Provisions are amazing. All of their food is great, but their chicken is crispy on the outside, juicy inside, and the waffles are a perfect mix of crunchy and fluffy. I love sweet breakfast, but this is a great menu item to get both sweet and savory.
Ali V. - I'd take a crispy waffle over a pancake any day. Especially as the bread in a breakfast sandwich at Bruges.
Kristi B. - Waffles are best. I like the ones at Penny Ann’s Cafe.
People are passionate about the Hub and Spoke waffles
Angela K. - My goodness. This shouldn't even be close. Hub and Spoke has the most amazing waffles. It's all about having an incredible batter which I find so hard to recreate at home. Truly the kind of thing you dream about.
Holden Y. - Everyone loves a good pancake, even myself, I will admit. But a waffle? It’s the pancake's hotter, taller, tanner, older cousin! It’s like comparing a Picasso to a fifth grader’s art project. Hub and Spoke’s Chicken and Waffle is an experience worthy of any person of culture.
