Cage Week kicked off yesterday, the annual event where devoted fans gather in Salt Lake City to celebrate the unforgettable films of Nicolas Cage. This year, City Cast Salt Lake is thrilled to take part as Cage Week’s first-ever sponsor!

If Nicolas Cage ever found himself in Salt Lake, here’s exactly where we’d take him, inspired by some of his most iconic roles.

📜 National Treasure

What better place to take the guy who starred in two “National Treasure” movies than the Natural History Museum of Utah. After that, take a walking tour to learn about Salt Lake City’s unseen history with Rachel Quist. End the night, naturally, at the Mystery Escape Room.

🩸 Renfield

He’s played a vampire in “Renfield” and a man who just thinks he’s one in “Vampire’s Kiss,” so I’m booking him an appointment to donate blood to the University of Utah’s Level 1 Trauma Center at ARUP Blood Services.

👼 City of Angels

This one’s very niche (hi, welcome to Hey Salt Lake), but there’s a scene in “City of Angels” where Cage cuts through his thumb, chopping lettuce, absolutely unphased because he’s an angel after all. Bring that leaf-loving cherub to Dollie’s Soup & Salad or any of the other best salads in Salt Lake.

⏱ Gone in 60 Seconds

This man vroom vrooms in more movies than I could count, but “Gone in 60 Seconds” is a classic. Attend a Utah Lowriders car show or go-kart race at the Utah Motorsports Campus.

Where would you take Nicolas Cage?
