Salt Lake City has one of the best-rated airports in the country, but it’s also among the most expensive to fly out of. If you’re headed there soon for spring travel, here’s what you should check out, from budget-friendly to a little more indulgent.

The airport offers three sensory rooms for travelers who may get overstimulated in busy terminals. They’re equipped with bean bags, soft lighting, and activity panels.

The best almost bar to get a craft beer and feed your family.

What I appreciate about the SLC airport is many of the restaurants don’t gouge their prices, and the new Aubergine Kitchen is no exception. Try the acai bowls and Mediterranean-inspired dishes with roasted veggies and hearty grains.

Very on brand for Utah: a med spa offering “non-invasive services.”

Not-your-average souvenir shop, this was created in partnership with the National Parks Foundation which helps preserve our national parks through ongoing conservation efforts.

View the airport’s latest art installation in Concourse B, “Swallows in Flight,” which includes over 2,000 laser-cut acrylic swallows.

💸 For luxury travelers: Another Delta Sky Club and a Centurion Lounge opened in Concourse B.

🛬 Landing this fall: A Swig, Moochie’s, Einstein Bros. Bagels, and the last 11 gates in the final phase of the airport’s $5 billion redevelopment.
