Moving Around the City
Several colleges in Utah offer free access to public transit through the Utah Transit Authority, so if you’re a student or a staff member you can live your best transit life. Not in college? Students and their guardians in the Salt Lake City School District ride for free, too!
SLC’s Arts + Culture Scene
- The Utah Symphony and Opera offer a student and under-30 pass that allows you to attend as many performances you’d like. You can go solo or with a buddy and even design your own pass. Get yours before the season officially starts.
- University of Utah students and staff get free access to places like Pioneer Theater, Utah Museum of Fine Arts, and the Natural History Museum with their UCard.
- Salt Lake Acting Company offers cheap tickets for students and those under 30, but they’re only available by phone.
- Loveland Living Planet Aquarium offers discounted tickets for students, and check out the exhibits at the Clark Planetarium for free.
- Looking for a flick? Brewvies gives students $2 off a movie ticket.
Working Out
Need a study break? CorePower Yoga offers students discounted classes at the Trolley Square and Foothill locations.
If going down a mountain is more your speed, local ski resorts give student discount packages: Ikon Pass, Epic Pass, and Brighton. The University of Utah also gives students discounted tickets at Campus Recreation Services.
