It’s always a good time to save a little money, so here is a list of restaurants around Salt Lake where kids can eat for free.

Bandits Grill & Bar in Cottonwood Heights and Park City

Start the week with a classic American grill family outing. Every Monday, kids get a free meal for each adult meal you order. The deal applies to lunch and dinner at both locations.

Every day can be Taco Tuesday if you believe in yourself. Kids 12 and younger eat for free on Sundays. Like most of these deals, it’s limited to one kid’s meal per adult entrée.

Slapfish Coastal Seafood Kitchen in Farmington and Lehi

Bribe your kid with free mac & cheese and treat yourself to a lobster roll on Tuesdays. If lobster’s not your thing, there are many great seafood and healthy options to choose from.

Apple Barrel Restaurant at Sapp Bros Travel Center in Glendale

Whether you’re on a road trip or need an easy last-minute meal during your commute, stop by the travel center for a chicken salad or BLT sandwich. Each adult meal gets a free meal for the little one. Bonus points for the option of all-day breakfast.

Furniture shopping? Members of IKEA’s Family program get two free kids entrées with the purchase of an adult entrée on Wednesdays. They also have good plant-based options.

Famous Dave’s in Select Locations Around Utah

Make Tuesday BBQ night. Order an adult entrée (I always go for the feast and question my life decisions later) or any adult entree and get a free Lil’ Wilbur meal for the kiddo. The meals come with a side, an Oreo cookie, and a drink.

Chuck-A-Rama Buffet in Salt Lake City

There’s a timeless nostalgia to eating at a buffet. It’s simple and everyone can get what, and as much as, they want — a priceless perk for any parent. Children 3 and under eat for free every day.
