This time last year, the City Cast Salt Lake team gathered ‘round to watch “Falling for Christmas,” which was filmed in Utah. While it was less than cinematic gold (sorry, Lindsay), it was thrilling to guess the lavish locations. Here’s your guide to spending a winter weekend livin’ la vida Lohan:
Lodging
The movie was largely shot at Goldener Hirsch and the Stein Eriksen Lodge.
Goldener Hirsch: The average nightly rate is $1,499 for a room, $1,199 for a junior suite, and $4,999 for a three-bedroom residential suite.
Stein Eriksen Lodge: The average nightly rate is $540 for a deluxe room and $1,836 for a two-bedroom grand suite.
Dining
It seems Lindsay only dined in. Dinner at the Glitretind Restaurant inside the Stein Eriksen Lodge ranges in price. The most expensive item is the Rocky Mountain elk for $62, and the cheapest is the Acorn Squash & Apple appetizer at $16.
Activities
Snowed Inn Sleigh Company: Maybe Balthazar the horse will be there, maybe not — $25 for a sleigh ride.
Park City Peaks Snowmobiling: Go snowmobiling with your influencer boyfriend/fiance, $279 for a two-person snowmobile.
Skiing at Deer Valley Resort: A season pass is $3,145, and single-day lift tickets are $189-$229.
Silver Sky Nights: A night of music, treats, and fireworks (a lot more than there was between the main characters of the movie), FREE.
A weekend spent like “Falling for Christmas” would cost roughly $20,000. But regaining your memory, remembering you’re a hotel heiress, and giving it all up to make pancakes with Chord Overstreet? Priceless.
