There’s so much to do and see in Ogden — from the historic 25th street to a vibrant food and art scene. Located just 40 miles north of Salt Lake City, it’s an easy drive or train ride away, making it the perfect destination for a day trip or weekend getaway.

Fiction reminds me of Salt Lake City’s Atelier, a curated gift shop founded by local artists. They frequently host workshops and cute pop-ups. Upcoming workshops include block printing and botanical incense making.

Happy Magpie bookstore closed, but they now host a writing club every Tuesday at Grounds for Coffee 25th.

An orchestra of professional, semi-professional, and amateur musicians that performs out of the historic Peery’s Egyptian Theater. Don’t miss their annual Red Dress Concert on Saturday, Jan. 25 celebrating American Heart Month.

Take your favorite dinophile to the dinosaur park, a collection of pre-historic creatures. They also host sensory friendly nights at the museum.

A family-owned Mexican restaurant serving up the tastiest breakfast and lunch. As they say on their menu, every plate is served with “lots of love and lots of chiles!”

Located inside The Monarch, this store offers eco-friendly products and mending classes.

For the Salt Lakers who remember Frontier Pies (RIP), and miss those covered wagon tables, you’re in for a treat at Prairie Schooner Steak House. You’ll dine pioneer-style alongside taxidermied animals.
