The 9th & 9th neighborhood is an ideal area to spend a day because there’s so much to do and see. Of course, it’s all anchored by the iconic Out of the Blue whale. Here’s just a glimpse of the many shops and restaurants to check out.
🍽️ Eatin’ Good in the Neighborhood
- Pizza Nono: Delicious wood-fired pizzas. Try the Beehive with honey and jalapeños.
- Publik Kitchen: A perfect spot for brunch and coffee, Publik is a Salt Lake City staple.
- Pago: Don’t sleep on Pago the next time you eat out. Try the short rib stroganoff or the classic burger.
- Dolcetti Gelato: Are you an ice cream person even when it’s cold outside? DidTry the coconut sticky rice gelato at this eclectically-decorated shop.
🛍️ Shop Til You Drop
- Mochi Kids: Featured in our gift guide for a reason, I will never not pop into this children’s store when visiting 9th & 9th.
- The Stockist: A beautifully curated clothing shop that carries a lot of great brands like Le Bon Shoppe, Aesop, and Alex Mill.
- Curriculum: A chic and broody lifestyle store that is also, randomly, a barber shop. Don’t miss their selection of Swedish candy, a favorite of Tan France.
🧘 Move Your Bod
- Tonic Method: This pilates studio will work muscles you never knew you had.
- Centered City Yoga: An inviting place to stretch and get centered.
