Hungry for dinner? Head to West Valley if you’re a food lover. Here are a few options you oughta try:
The menu is massive, and you really can’t go wrong with anything, but if you’re overwhelmed try the enchiladas and the molcajete.
Don’t let this sway you either way, but Guy Fieri has eaten here, if that means something to you. Plus, one Hey Salt Lake reader raved about it saying, “I was skeptical. I love curry, I love pizza, but together? 10/10 would recommend. The honey curry doesn't look the most appetizing, but it's one of my favorite foods! My D&D group gobbles this place up a couple times a month.”
Come here for the amazing carne asada tacos with handmade tortillas. And stay for their tamales that come in pork, chicken, or cheese.
Hawaiian-style Korean BBQ. They also have Korean-style corndogs — one is even coated in Fruity Pebbles! Save room for bingsu, a creamy shaved ice dessert that has the texture of freshly fallen snow. Top it with mango, strawberry, or Oreo.
City Cast Salt Lake lead producer Emily Means’ rec: Casa Peru is a can't-miss Peruvian restaurant in West Valley. The portions are huge, so you should probably go with a friend or two. Sip on a chicha morada while you enjoy the fresh and VERY lime-y ceviche mixto as an appetizer, then order the lomo saltado entree (a steak, onions, and tomato stir fry over rice and French fries). Don’t forget a box of alfajores on your way out!
