Looking for things to do down in Happy Valley (aka Utah County)? We’ve got you covered with a coffee stop, book shop, and even authentic fish tacos in Provo and Orem.
The newest cafe in Provo has grown from a coffee cart at local farmers markets to a bustling brick-and-mortar on 27 N. 100 W.
The best place to find San Diego-style fish tacos is in a parking lot in Orem — fried fish, crunchy cabbage, and creamy sauce. This food truck can usually be found at 495 W. University Parkway but they often come up to Salt Lake City, too.
A plant store and book shop in one, what a dream. Planted in Pages opened late last year inside a historic home in Provo.
Be prepared for huge portions and a wait if you come on a weekend morning. Try the Dutch baby or the huevos rancheros.
Not only do they serve delicious food, they host K-drama nights, Korean language classes, and kimchi making workshops. The kimchi workshop is hosted by the owner’s mom, aka Mama Choi, whenever she’s in town.
Spend the afternoon looking at art at Alma Gallery. March will feature work by artists Kristen Noelle Anderson, Victoria Schiodtz, and Ryann Woods Ham.
