Have you been to a soccer game this season? Sandy is home to one of the most exciting soccer scenes in the country, with Real Salt Lake and the Utah Royals playing at the America First Field (formerly Rio Tinto Stadium). Passionate fans, who even wrote their own Real anthem, flock there in hordes to cheer on our home team. So, snag your pals and get ready for a good time.

3️⃣ Things To Know Before You Go

  • Parking. The stadium has six lots, otherwise public parking is very limited. You can park at Sandy Park Center, Jordan High School, or at the UTA Park & Ride at the TRAX Historic Sandy Station. A few cash lots are also open, including MACU Expo Center. When in doubt, carpool, get dropped off, or take public transit.
  • Clear bag policy. Clear bags must be under 14” x 14” x 6”. You can bring a clutch or wallet, but it has to be under 4.5” x 6.5”. Diaper bags and medical bags are allowed.
  • Purchasing booze. Keep in mind, if you’re in the general seating area, alcohol sales end at the 75-minute mark of the game.

🍽️ Where To Dine

  • Tiburon for a little surf and turf. The menu includes dishes like filet mignon, lobster tail, and crab cakes.
  • Tsunami Restaurant & Sushi Bar is a popular sushi restaurant that offers a range of sushi and Japanese dishes. The menu includes sushi rolls, sashimi, udon noodles, and more.
  • Tin Roof Grill serves up American cuisine with a twist. The menu includes dishes like mac and cheese, burgers, and fish tacos.

🥤 Where To Drink

  • Bout Time Pub & Grub is a good time for sports fans and they have five locations in Salt Lake County. Try the Monte Cristo.
